This product has fraction, decimal, percent, and name cards to sort into a table of parts of a dollar. Most students are familiar with money, so money provides a good foundation to start considering fractions, decimals, and percents.
Another advantage is that the cards have "quarter" and "three quarters" which will help the student learn to use the term "quarter".
The product has the table completed, the table with cards scrambled, a blank table for the students to use as a template when sorting the cards, and a partially completed (but scrambled) table for the students to complete.
The product may be used in different ways. For example, the blank table does not have to be used, and the students may be merely asked to sort the cards in any way they see fit. Once they have sorted them one way and recorded the way they sorted, the students may be asked to sort the cards again.
Students may work alone, with a partner, or in a small group.
