Product Description
Given a bag of M&Ms students will create fractions, decimals and percents based on the colors they have in their bags to prove or disprove the claim made by the M&M company. I gave my students regular M&Ms, peanut M&Ms and peanut butter M&Ms based on student's ability. There are less M&Ms in the peanut bags because they are bigger which means it was easier for struggling students to work with. You can place students in pairs with this activity or they can work independently depending on how much candy you want to use.
