This is a 4 page packet of FRACTIONS that supports the Common Core Standards NUMBERS AND OPERATIONS: FRACTIONS, for more advanced grade 3 Students, Grade 4, and Grade 5 for those who need a bit of review.
Page 1 Children are to decide if the shaded part of the first set of boxes is equal to, more than, or less than the second set of shaded boxes.
Page 2 Students are to decide if the first fraction is more than, less than, or equal to the second. Some will need to be reduced to lowest terms, first.
Page 3 Your class will compare two pictures. They are to color in a specified fractional part of each picture.
Page 4 Children are asked to draw sets of pictures, shade them so that they are equal to more than, or less than.
