This set of FOUR fraction games gives students practice with identifying fractions, recognizing 2/2, 3/3, 4/4, etc. as one whole, comparing fractions with like numerators or denominators, and matching fraction pictures, words, and number lines together. This download comes with a color version and a grayscale version of each game (102 pg. in color & 102 pg. in grayscale). An EDITABLE student direction page is included with each game so that you can customize the directions to fit the needs of your kiddos. I am a print, cut, and go kind of girl. These games require very little prep!

In this game, students compete against each other to fill their four square game mat with a matching set of fractions (regular, written, picture, and number line). Each game set includes 4 similar game boards to make it more challenging. For example, the target fractions might be 2/5, 3/5, 2/3, and 3/4 within a set. There are 4 DIFFERENT sets of 4. Each set contains 4 similar game boards, 16 coordinating cards, student directions, and an answer key.
The Great Race:
This game is all about helping students recognize 2/2, 3/3, 4/4 as 1 whole. Students place their game piece in the Pit Stop of one of their fraction bars to "activate" that fraction bar for the round. After spinning, they shade in that many units only if it doesn't take them over one whole. For example, if they activate their 1/3s bar and spin a 4, they can't shade any 1/3s in because it would make more than one whole. Spinner included.
Robot Round Up:
Students work to collect robots in this game by comparing fractions with either like numerators ( 2/4 vs. 2/8) OR like denominators (3/6 vs 5/6). There are 48 game cards total. 16 are comparing pictures, 16 are comparing fractions in regular form, and 16 are comparing fractions on number lines. Within each set of 16, 8 have fractions with the same numerator, and the other 8 have fractions with the same denominator. This game really challenges students to show their understanding of the numerator and denominator. This includes a student response form and answer key.
Out of This World:
While racing their way around the game board, students work on identifying simple fractions of a whole and fractions of a group. TWO versions are included: one with free response cards (no answer choices provided) and another duplicate set that includes multiple choice answers. There are 36 cards in each version. 16 cards are basic fraction of whole in picture format, 8 cards are fraction of group in picture format, and 12 fraction of group in paragraph format. Spinner, student response sheets, and answer key are included.
