Fraction Kites Craftivity and Practice Pages Math Craft Activity

Need a fun activity for your students to review or practice fractions? Want to pretty up your classroom this spring (or any time!)? Fraction Kites will have your students practice working with fractions in a fun way - by incorporating kites!

Craftivity

Students decorate a kite with crayons and write the corresponding fraction for each color on a bow. Students then use the pieces to assemble a colorful kite! Directions are included for assembling the kites to hang on a bulletin board or from the ceiling.

Differentiate!

Thirteen different kites are available to make. Differentiate in your classroom and give students who are struggling a kite with smaller parts while students who are more advanced work with kites with a larger number of parts!

Practice!

Eight practice pages are included to help students work with equal and unequal parts, halves, thirds, and fourths!
