These are some posters to help students visualize the connection between Fraction Strips and Number Lines in 3rd and 4th Grade. They can be printed in color or in black and white on colored paper. (The picture shown is printed on colored paper to save on colored ink.) I think this "giant" model of fraction strips and number lines will be fun and also help students really "see" the connection.
The picture shown only has the fractions with denominators required by the 3rd grade TEKS, but included are: 1 whole, halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths, tenths, and twelfths.
Also included are some posters to show all the ways fractions can be represented by models at this age.
