In this task, students will solve real world math problems involving a student election that deal with fractions, decimals, and percent. Students will have to convert fractions to decimals, decimals to fractions, fractions to percent, percent to fractions, percent to decimals and decimals to percent. Students will also have to explain how they solved several of the higher level thinking questions. This task can be used as an activity and/or assessment. It is great for formal or informal observations.
