Fraction Satisfaction is a 2-player game that allows the students to practice comparing fractions with like and unlike denominators. Each player rolls two dice to create an ordered pair that is used to select a fraction on the game board and places a colored counter on the fraction. The players then work together to compare the fractions. The player with the greater fraction keeps his colored counter on the fraction while the other player removes his. The first player to get four fractions in a row on the game board - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - wins the game. This activity meets or exceeds the Common Core Standards of Mathematics.
