This includes 2 fraction activities and 2 mini posters.
The first is a fraction sort. Students will cut out 16 squares and determine if they are equal to 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 or not a fraction. They and sort and paste them down.
The second activity is an equivalent match up. The teacher will cut each rectangle apart into two triangles. The students will have to match the two equivalent fractions together. There are 16 sets of equivalent fractions I included an answer sheet to record their answers if you choose to use it. You could always just verbally go over the results.
I also included 2 mini posters. One poster describes a fraction is an equal part of a whole. The other poster describes an equivalent fraction.
