Product Description
This product is the ultimate pack for all of your fraction needs!!

I have created several different types of activities and put them all together in one product. The activities in this product cover a variety of learning levels and will meet the needs of all of your students. Some activities are very higher level thinking and others are simply identifying the fractions.

Included are:
Interactive Task Cards:
A set of open-ended task cards in the form of word problems. Students will read the problem and then have to shade in the fractions strips or models in order to solve the problem. Many of these require students to compare two fractions with < > or=. This activity includes 11 different cards.

Shaded and Un-Shaded Task Cards:
This activity includes 26 different task cards with a simple picture. Students will identify the shaded and the un-shaded part of the fractions. These are perfect for those students who still need practice with naming fractions (part over whole). An answer key is included with these cards as well as a recording sheet.

Similar Sets and Odd Man Out:
This last set of activities are higher level thinking and perfect for challenging students. The first activity is similar sets. It included 4 sets of cards. All of the cards are showing the same fraction. Present the cards to students one set at a time and challenge them to figure out why you grouped them. They have to figure out why the cards go together.

The second activity also includeds 4 sets of cards. This one is called Odd Man Out because three of the cards go together but one does not belong in the set. Students must figure out which card does not belong and why.

I have used these in my room with great success. I laminated the first set of cards and let students use dry erase markers to shade.

Enjoy! If you liked this product please leave me some feedback.
