Product Description
Dear teachers,

Thank you for purchasing My Fraction Vocabulary Review Cards. I would recommend printing the cards on cardstock and then printing the 4 square template on regular paper. You will need multiple copies of the template. These cards can be used in several ways.

Included are:
10 vocabulary word cards
10 definition cards
10 example cards
10 blank cards for students to illustrate/explain the words
3 category headers
4 square template

Card Game 1:
Make multiple copies of the cards, depending on number of groups. Put students in groups of 4. Each group will need 10 4-square templates and 1 set of cards. Have students sort the cards and paste them onto a 4-square templates. Each template should include the word, definition, example, and then the group should create an illustration or explanation for the 4th card. Then students can categorize the words and place them under the category headers.

Card game 2:
Students can play concentration with the cards. (Just either take out the definitions or examples).

Card Game 3 (My favorite)
To use all cards you need 30 students. If you have fewer than 30 students, select 1-2 vocabulary words to omit (and take out their corresponding definitions/examples). Each student gets one card. Then students have to find their partners (they should create groups of 3: word, definition, example). Then each group will paste their cards on a template and create an illustration or explanation for the 4th card. Groups will then find the appropriate category header to place their finished template under. Groups can then present their word to the entire class.
