The Fraction Wall Booklet is a manipulative that I created when teaching the 4.NF.1 standard. This is a manipulative that helps the students visualize the size of fractions compared to their equivalent counterparts. Each of the fractions (from 1 whole to 1/12) has it's own corresponding page.
The student cut the cover and the fraction pages and staple or glue the sheets on top of each other so that when they flick through the booklet, they can see each of the fractions and the size of each fraction.
Each fraction sheet also has an area where the students can draw other equivalent fraction that match.
All you have to do is download, print and photocopy each page on white or different colored paper for each student. Staple or glue required. Instructions included.
Save $$$ - This resource is part of the Mini Bundle - Introduction to Equivalent Fractions – (Part of 4.N.F.1) 9 Individual Resources plus 2 complete Lesson Plans for just $9.50 ☺
All Of My Resources Are Common Core Aligned (But Also Work Great For Those Using Other Standards):
You can feel confident that you are comprehensively teaching your students every skill in the standard with my resources, as all have been designed from the ground up to align to the CCSS. Whilst my resources have specifically been designed for 4th Grade, most will also be most applicable to higher ability students in grade 3 and lower ability students in grade 5.
Your Feedback Is Highly Valued and Much Appreciated.
I hope your students enjoy this resource and that it gives you a bit of time back in your busy life.
Please take the time to provide some feedback ☺
