The traditional bingo game with the questions as fractional exponents. During this activity, students will fill in each of the boxes on a 3 x 3 grid from a list of 20 answers. During the game, if the question on the overhead has an answer that they wrote down, the students cross it off. First one to cross off all their boxes wins the game.
My students really enjoyed this game as it is different from the typical work done in the classroom. The best part is that they have to solve each of the problems to know whether they have the answer or not.
This works as excellent review at the end of the unit before an assessment or mid-unit to take a break from teaching :)
It takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish.
