Fractions! Simplest form! This project allows your students to take their knowledge of fractions and simplest form and put it into action. Students are asked to create their dream schoolyard. They must divide a piece of construction paper into equal fractional parts. Then they are told to create their desired schoolyard. Students should put labels and fractions stating how much the area takes up. Simplest for of each fraction should be show. This includes an example of the project, an explanation for students, WS for students to complete and a rubric for grading. A fun way to demonstrate fractional knowledge. All pages are editable!
