Fractionball is a fun and engaging game to help your students practice multiplying fractions! There are three rounds and this game needs minimal supplies and work by the teacher. Just print the pages, tape down some shooting lines (like in basketball) and grab a ball! The best part about this game is not only the teamwork involved, but that the game is unpredictable! If students are winning during the rounds, that's awesome, but other students shouldn't give up just yet! Once teams start taking their shots on the basket, the game can take quite a turn and the underdogs can come out on top! I also added a slide that lets students know the teacher can add and remove points based on sportsmanship.
Round 1:Fractions x whole numbers
Round 2:Fractions x fractions
Round 3:Mix (fractions x fractions or fractions x whole numbers)
