6 Sheets that help your student to learn how to identify and work with 1/4th fractions.

Coloring 1/4 of a shape
Identifying shapes that are evenly divided by 1/4ths and ones that are not
Learning to divide the same shape two different ways to still get 1/4ths with a circle and a square
Identifying what area of a shape a 1/4th is located in (upper right, lower left)
These can be completed as worksheets or laminated and used with colored whiteboard markers.

3. Partition circles and rectangles into two and four equal shares, describe
the shares using the words halves, fourths, and quarters, and use the
phrases half of, fourth of, and quarter of. Describe the whole as two of,
or four of the shares.
