Fractions book for fractions activities for half of, third of, fourth of practice in a fun and differentiated way! There is also a book that practices half of, fourth of, and whole if you don't teach thirds. (UK Version also included if you teach "Quarter of" rather than "Fourth of")
Check out the video preview for an example of one of the books! :)
I included 8 versions of this fractions book so that is really easy to differentiate for all levels! Each book has 5 little pages for each type of fraction, which means 15 little pages of visuals to flip through total per book. Half of the books practice half of, fourth of, and whole. The other half of the books practice half of, third of, and fourth of. Here are the included books:
1) Half of, fourth of, third of book that is premade. Students simply cut out, assemble, and glue to create.
2) Half of, fourth of, third of book where students must cut out, assemble, and glue the book. Then, they must sort the different fraction visuals under the correct description (half of, fourth of, or third of).
3) Half of, fourth of, third of book that is premade like #1 but students must go through the book to color in the fraction that is described. For example, under the "half of" page, they would go through and color in half of each fraction under it to make the book correctly.
4) Half of, fourth of, third of book where students make the books, then have to color in one part of each fraction, the sort those fractions to glue them under the correct description (half of, third of, or fourth of)
5 - 8) The same as books 1-4 but with half of, fourth of, and whole.
Please note that these books are very similar so they would probably only be used for one lesson/activity. There are 8 books included but that is for the purpose of differentiation, not for 8 different lessons.
I also included a UK spelling version of the books where I use "quarter of" instead of "fourth of" to give another option for the fractions terminology!
