PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Fractions of Circles, Rectangles, Squares, and Triangles!
Partition circles and rectangles, into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths.
Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
Children first explore the concept of fractions by dividing shapes into two, three, or four pieces, and describing the portion as halves, thirds, and fourths.
This product has pies in thirds, fourths, and whole, and spinners in halves, thirds, and fourths.
The rectangles are in thirds and fourths; squares are in halves, thirds, and fourths; and finally, triangles are in halves, and whole.
There are five printables with pies, spinners, rectangles, squares, and triangles where students are asked to color the correct portion or fraction of these shapes.
