This project has students create a Memory card game that demonstrates their knowledge of equivalent fractions (with and without denominators of 100), mixed numbers, decimals to the hundredths, and percent. They also make 4 game cards relating fractions and decimals to a number line. Students create an answer key to accompany their game.
This makes a great enrichment project for younger students, or a classwork activity for older students.
It's also beneficial to have small groups play the game as a review of a fractions, decimals, and percent unit!
This game includes:
*examples of what the matching cards should look like
*a checklist for students to use while completing the project
*a grading rubric for the teacher
small 100-grid cut outs
scissors, glue, pencil, markers
