This differentiated Math center activity contains two
improper fraction to mixed number conversion puzzles, one is 30 unique problems and the other is 17 unique problems. The 30 problem puzzle contains mixed to improper fractions that need to be simplified and the 17 problem puzzle requires no simplification.
They are ideal for engaging math center work. The problems are all conversions between improper fractions and mixed numbers. These puzzles can be used by small groups, partners, or individual students. Also works great for those fast finishers!
The individual triangles form a self checking hexagon shape once all the problems are solved, and the squares form a self checking rectangle once all the problems have been solved.
Could be printed small and used as an activity in an interactive notebook.
