What educators are saying

Students enjoyed making the gift. It was a great way to reinforce fractions and fit with the holiday theme.
This was a great resource to use as part of a fraction bootcamp the week before Christmas break. My students loved the chance to be creative and they all turned out so unique.

Fractions can be fun! Sneak in some practice or review during those final weeks before Christmas with these fraction craftivities!

This package includes all of the templates needed for both the Christmas tree and the gift. The Christmas tree is for identifying parts of a set/group and the Christmas gift is for identifying parts of a whole. Take your pick!

Plus, it now has a digital version created for Google Slides!

It also includes an editable file for you to modify the fraction statements to your liking.

In my examples and for my class, I copied onto colored construction paper and regular white paper. You could also make tracers or copy onto white paper and have your students color.

*My first graders embraced the challenge of the cutting! I hope your students do, too! You could also use “licker-stickers” for the ornaments on the Christmas tree.
