This resource includes 32 task cards and a differentiated answer sheet to help your students to practice fractions on a number line and build a better understanding.
These task cards are part of my Fractions on a Number Line Resource.
Each task card contains one fraction on it. Students have to find and label where each fraction belongs on the number line provided on their answer sheet. Students practice both fractions on a number line greater than 1 and less than 1.
For the first 16 task cards, the answer sheet provides a number line that is already split into the correct number of sections based on the denominator of the fractions. For the last 16 task cards, the answer sheet provides a blank number line, requiring students to have a better understanding of fractions in order to complete the activity accurately. You can differentiate the activity based on each of your students' understanding. Or, you can have students complete this as two different activities as they grow in their understanding.
This can be used as a fractions on a number line station, a small group fraction lesson, a partner activity, independent practice, a fractions review, used for fractions on a number line Scoot, and more!
The preview shows everything included in this resource.
