This packet includes 5 pages of rules and 5 pages of coordinating practice problems for each of these concepts related to Fractions and Mixed Numbers:

Multiply
Divide
Add and Subtract with same denominator
Add and Subtract with different denominators

Each rule includes steps and examples to show how to do each operation.

For mixed numbers, 2 methods are shown for adding and subtracting:
* Adding mixed numbers using improper fractions and
* Adding the whole numbers and the fractions separately (borrowing is shown for subtracting)

When getting common denominators, some examples include a list of multiples and another shows prime factorization.

An answer sheet is also provided.
