The four Reader's Theater's described below can be found individually in my store for $4.00 each. The Reader's Theater scripts are bundled with a discounted price. When you purchase the four script bundle you are getting one reader's theater free.

The Three Cowboys and the Big, Bad Bull
This reader's theater script is a fractured fairy tale based on The Three Little pigs. The three cowboys leave home to start ranches of their own. They build ranch houses in the Big, Bad Bull's territory. There are two ending.
The reader's theater is created for a small group or a whole class. The chorus can accommodate one student to many students if done with the class. See the preview for a list of characters and the number of parts.

Little Blue Swimming Hood
This reader's theater play is a fractured fairy tale based on Little Red Riding Hood. Angelica, a young mermaid, receives a beautiful blue swimming hood from her grandmother. On her way to take treats to her grandmother she encounters Shad, a big, bad wolf shark. There are five character parts. The first four parts can be for individuals or small groups. The chorus is intended for the rest of the class.

Lumberfella
This is a fractured fairy tale based on Cinderella. Lumberfella lives at a lumber camp with his step-father, Jack and his two step-brothers, Jeb and Lars. They let Lumberfella do all the hard work while they play in town. Mr. King, the lumber company’s owner, puts on a lumberjack contest to see who the best lumberjack is. Whoever wins the lumberjack contest will also win the hand of his daughter, Zelma.
The reader's theater is created for a small group or a whole class. The chorus can accommodate one student to many students if done with the class. See the preview for a list of characters and the number of parts.

Harrysocks and the Three Smiths
This is a fractured fairy tale based on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Harrysocks, who got that nickname because of his white feet, lives at the zoo with his family. He decides to go on an adventure and leaves the zoo. He finds the house of the Smith family where Mr. and Mrs. Smith live with their child, Baby Smith. While the Smiths aren’t home, Harrysocks finds many contemporary items throughout their house. (Computer tablets, video games, and flat screen TVs.)
This script can be used by 12 students up to a whole class. It is written for 2nd through 5th graders. You can see the list of characters in the preview.
