‘Fragment & Complete Sentence Sort Using Bat Facts’ makes a great center activity or activity for guided instruction. Give each student a piece of construction paper, scissors, and glue. Have the student’s fold their construction paper in half. They will then glue the ‘Fragment’ label on one side of the construction paper and the ‘Complete Sentence’ label on the other side of the construction paper. Students will then cut out each of the 23 boxes, which contain facts about bats, and decide whether they contain a complete sentence or a fragment. Once the pieces are sorted, students will glue the pieces onto the correct column on their construction paper. An answer key is included for student's to self check their work or for easy teacher grading.
