Frame the lesson is adapted from the book, The Fundamental 5. Before each new lesson, students get ready to
“FRAME THAT LESSON!"
*The frames are posted for each subject.
*Framing the lesson is where we state the learning objective at the beginning of the lesson in a concrete, student-friendly language in the form of a “we will” statement.
*Then end of the lesson is with a closing question, product, or task that is in the same form but as an “I will” statement.
The organizer is designed to be printed, laminated and posted on a dry erase board. I design my frames as a bubble map. I place the title at the top and the date in the center. The subjects go around the date representing the "bubbles".
The Frame the Lesson package includes:
*"Frame That Lesson!" title for top of the board. (english and spanish)
*"Today is:" page in black and white polka dots. Designed to write the date on. (english and spanish)
*Subject headers in different colored chevron print. Subjects include: Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing
*"We will" and "I will" headers that are color coded with each subject. They are designed to go under each subject. (english and spanish)
