PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a great slideshow to show elementary students at the beginning of a unit on Impressionism, French culture, or language. It puts the country in perspective for K-5 students and gives them an overview on some of the highlights of France. This download comes with the slideshow in BOTH a PowerPoint and PDF version.

This slideshow includes:
a map of France
popular foods: french bread, croissants, omelettes, cheese, pastries, escargot, and frog's legs
"Are french fries really from France?"
a few basic French phrases to learn
famous tourist destinations in Paris such as the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame
famous Impressionist artists: Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne, and Edgar Degas

**I actually lived in France for a summer and studied art history there so the information is coming from someone who has been there!**
