Upon hearing of the "Seven Cities of Gold", Francisco Vázquez de Coronado set sail for the new world in search of gold. Students will learn about this Spanish explorer and his expeditions as they read and respond to 10 comprehension questions which are formatted much like those on the Texas STAAR Reading Test.
