Frank Lloyd Wright is one of America’s best known and influential architects. This lesson will introduce students to Frank Lloyd Wright while guiding them through higher level thinking. A great way to lead students through image analysis with a graphic organizer to teach students the steps of describing, analyzing, interpreting, and judging images.

—Images and descriptions of Wright’s Marin County Civic Center.
—A description of the principle of art: rhythm.
—A graphic organizer to help students develop visual literacy and interpret Wright’s famous quotes. Students will describe, analyze, interpret, and judge images from the lesson.
