Looking for a great way to check students understanding of Frankenstein? Look no further!
Frankenstein is a complex novel with frequent narration changes and dense descriptions. The first section of the novel is letter written by Robert Walton to his sister. Rather than have students complete a basic summary of the letters, amp up the engagement and relevancy using popular social media tools to summarize the information.
While in the past, people would write letters while traveling, today we often update people through social media. This asks students to do just that (acting as Robert Walton) through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Snapchat.
Students will have a great time creating these summaries, and you'll be able to easily check for understanding.
