Product Description
I teach Frankenstein alongside of Blade Runner and Nietzsche. I have several other TpT units on this wonderful novel - please see below.

Included in this unit are the following:

➢ Information on the novel’s subtitle – The Modern Prometheus.

➢ 17 essay questions and/or discussion questions.

➢ Questions aligned with ELA-Literacy CCSS 8-12 – in particular with the following standards:
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.8.1
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.8.4
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.9-10.7
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.11-12.7
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.8.7
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.9-10.1
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.9-10.4
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.11-12.1
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.11-12.7
CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH.11-12.9

➢ Some of the questions included here compare Frankenstein, Blade Runner, and the myth of Prometheus. While I include a small summary of the myth, there are other more detailed accounts of the myth online, and it may be necessary for students to do a more thorough search to fully answer these questions. One question requires extra research on Zeus.

➢ This unit allows for differentiated learning; some students may be more comfortable with the questions that focus on the lower levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy (remembering/ comprehension and simple applications/understanding), whereas other questions provide students the opportunity to focus on higher levels (analysis and evaluation).

Here are two other units:

1. This is a multiple choice test and further essay questions on Frankenstein:
Frankenstein: test entire novel (multiple choice and essay questions).

2. This unit combines my units on Frankenstein and Blade Runner - it includes this unit:
Frankenstein and Blade Runner combined
