PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

You will use 21st-century skills to research, collaborate,
design, and share your project. This book will take you through the process of completing your project.

In this project-based learning activity, the students will
research the different places Frederick Douglass has lived
and identify 1 event that happened in that location. The students
will record the information in this book. Once they have
researched about Frederick Douglass’s life, the
students will design and build a 3D escape map. The
map will display the escape route that Frederick Douglass
took to escape to freedom and the locations he had to go to until he was legally free. Your map will need to be 3D and show the route he took to escape from slavery and the routes he took until he was “legally free.”
