### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Two worksheets (I prefer to call them think sheets) that assess adding and subtracting (up to three digits). One sheet is to check basic skills and the other is to check application of adding, by asking questions about ice cream cone sales.

How can I use this product?
You can use this resource for a quick way to check understanding, as well as to see how well your students can apply their math skills in challenging and real-life ways.

* 2 pages of cover/copyright info/and teacher notes
* 1 page of basic math skill questions like 45 + 10 =
* 1 page of problem solving skills like "Which days did the ice cream store sell the most ice cream cones?" and "Which days does the store need to have fewer employees and why?
