CodeKey is a series of after-school coding classes that include self-guided, self-paced, interactive coding projects using popular animated characters and LEGO® like blocks of code.
The classes are for boys and girls ages 9 and older, and use instructional videos that are geared towards students in grades 3rd-12th.
CodeKey works in conjunction with a school’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and parent or student volunteers to help educate students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) related topics. CodeKey places a strong emphasis on computer science and computer programming. The program is FREE for schools and PTAs and is supported by charging a nominal fee to the parents of participating students. The majority of the proceeds then go to support the PTA.
