Make that first day back at school count. Instead of a lecture about class expectations, let this four scene reader’s theater script and project introduce the four Be(e)s –Be prepared, be respectful, be responsible and be successful. Students have the opportunity to create additional scenes based on other class expectations, set goals, and respond to a variety of prompts while teachers have the chance to informally assess reading skills, introduce rubric based grading and observe group dynamics.
