Establish your daily routine right away and help kids stay on task right when they walk in your room! A bellringer question (starter, warm-up, do now) is the perfect way to begin bell to bell teaching.
I've used this bellringer sheet, copied front and back, for kids to write their bellringer answers on. They keep it hole-punched, in their binders, and hand it in every two weeks. It's an alternative to kids writing answers on notebook paper. The bellringers themselves (not provided!) are usually projected on the board, and include review questions, questions from the text book, vocabulary words to be used in a sentence, or fun questions about the kids themselves. I've included three versions- hopefully you will find one of them useful!
