Phonetic and emergent reading skills are color coded according to a simple "thumbs up", "thumbs in the middle", or "thumbs down" scale. Students are able to coney to both teachers and parents their perceptions of themselves as readers.
I used this for goal setting in my reading groups and then used them again as part of student led parent conferences. Enjoy finding out how your students perceive their own reading abilities and where they would like help.
Note: the product is made on A4 sized paper. If you are printing in a standard US size, choose "shrink to fit" in your printing options. (A4 is very close to letter but the very bottom bit will not print if you don't choose "shrink to fit")
