Here’s a bonus tip, free to use, passing along for teachers… spreading the word about Ohm around because it’s an incentive for saving energy and lowering California's use of fossil-fuel consumption.
For anyone using PG&E (basically, all of us), this is info about free grant fund that is available to everyone, plus the free service is the winner of the U.S. Department of Energy "Data Energy Challenge"... Basically, they're incentivizing to keep California's air cleaner through a $4million PG&E related grant, and it benefits everyone at no-cost...

It's free to use, and everyone can get rewarded for saving energy for simply turning off a few extra lights, etc... it also works well for users of the Nest or EcoBee wi-fi thermostat and smart plugs to earn even more, plus this is also free to use for friends or family as well. Most of all, the awareness for cleaner air in California is really is great, and it's worth checking out because it's a free service for anyone.
So, for a couple basic questions: Ohm is totally free for PG&E customers, and we've earned quite a bit... that's about all!
