Description

These posters are a great resource for teaching figurative language. Each of the seven posters (regular paper size) includes one figurative language device. Included in this free product are one definition and example each for: simile, metaphor, alliteration, personification, hyperbole, onomatopoeia and idiom.

Posters can serve as a display to help students to remember figurative language definitions and examples or to label classroom figurative language activity stations.
