Free Form Poems in Spanish - Quien Soy?

Free Form Poems in Spanish - Quien Soy?
Product Description
This is a fun activity to be used when teaching about describing yourself. Students are given a brief description about what a free-form poem is and they are provided an example of one (In Spanish.) This form of self-portrait poetry describes things about the person (in Spanish,) like what the person looks like, personality traits, their friends & family, likes & dislikes, what they want to do, etc. and eventually forms their name vertically through the use of one letter from each line. Students really enjoy this activity because it describes themselves as a person and is a nice break from the usual grammar & vocabulary activities seen in Spanish class on a normal basis. Students are then provided a step by step guide for creating their very own "Free-Form/Self Portrait" poems which involves a brainstorm & peer revision stage. This is a great portfolio assignment that the students love to share with their classmates! *Note: Created on a Mac laptop so you MAY/MAY NOT need to re-space the lines of the poem in order for them to read the name vertically. (Wouldn't take more than 1 minute if need be.)
