In this geometry activity, students identify each angle as acute, obtuse, right, or reflex. Simply print out the cards on heavy-duty paper, cut apart, and laminate.
Pair up your students and give each pair one set of cards. Have them use dry-erase or water-based markers to label the cards, so that you can re-use them later.
After students have labeled all their angles, they can then use the cards to play a memory game or Go Fish.
I used this activity in the early stages of a geometry unit to help reinforce the different types of angles to ESL students struggling with the new concept and new vocabulary.
