Halloween writing has never been so much fun! Students create a monster by simply cutting out the head, creating a pom-pom stomach out of yarn, and gluing the pieces on a card background.
The monster card contains an area for writing which is extremely adaptable. Here are just a few ways the card can be used:
o Students can write facts about Halloween. These facts can range from how much candy is sold in the U.S. each Halloween to ancient Halloween celebrations.
o Students can write Halloween poems. A graphic organizer is included to guide students through the process of writing a Halloween Analogy Poem.
o Substitute the pom-pom stomach for a snack cake, and the monster card turns into a great party favor!
The finished cards look great on a bulletin board!
Three card patterns are include in both color and black line.
