If you often project journal prompts for AP Language students to write to, you should try having students keep their entries in one place: this adorable micro-journal! Each day of the week is labeled and includes a space for students to copy the prompt and several lines to write their short responses. On the last page of the week is a space with a checklist reminding students to circle their best entry of the week and to indicate absences. The rest of the space is left for you to grade and leave feedback on the ONE entry the STUDENT chooses for you to read! This is a great mini-portfolio of students' writing development as well.
Check back soon for another version of this with my journal prompts pre-printed on each day!
