Looking for a fun way to get your students talking, moving, and collaborating? Look no further!

This Seek & Find Scavenger Hunt Style game will get your students up and moving while teaching them about contemporary and classic banned books. You can allow your students to access the internet to identify the banned books used in this game or you can use physical copies of the books from the library. In my library, we use the physical books so the students have the opportunity to interact with the book. Often, the students are interested in reading the books after we play the game, so I also have these books available for students to check out at the end of the lesson.

How the Game Works
----------------------------
★ This game includes 9 question cards that include descriptions and titles of banned or challenged books. Your students will use the description on each card to find the corresponding titles until they have found all of the titles (in order). These cards need to be hung around the room.
★ Each card has a book title at the top and a description of a book on the bottom.
★ The included student answer sheet has the first description. Your students will find the title of the book that goes with that description, and then use the description on the bottom of that poster to continue the game.
★ The answer key is included for teacher use.
★ The first team (or student) to get all of the book titles in order is the winner!
★ Files come in a printable PDF format.
★ If you would like to customize the game, a link to an editable Google Slides document is also provided with your download.
