Celebrate national Poem in your Pocket Day by offering students and staff members poems they can carry with them all day.
This download has pages of popular poems by many poets that can be printed, cut, and folded into someone's pocket for the day. I included links to websites for lesson plans, ideas, and more poems.
These poems can be used anytime--keep the packet for poetry reading sessions, class discussions, and more.
Have fun promoting poetry in your school!
• I added even more poems--the file now contains almost 120 poems by a variety of diverse poets.
• The poems are much easier to cut than my 2010 version.
• I included a pocket to store the poems and an extra display poster to make them easier for students to help themselves to a poem.
This IS included in my mega bundle: ALL of my POETRY RESOURCES GROWING BUNDLE.
