Looking for a 30 min. or so lesson to "fix" a problem that many students have with their writing? This worksheet is a great lesson follow-up.You can use it alone or you can purchase the PowerPoint that goes with it. Used with the PowerPoint, the worksheet can be used in any of these ways:
a) Differentiate. Have most learners take their own notes with the PowerPoint and distribute this worksheet to only those who struggle with copying notes.
b) Give to all students and focus on conversation while discussing the PowerPoint.
c) Offer as homework following a lesson on double negatives. The next day, you can show the Double Trouble PowerPoint on the whiteboard and have students take turns using a marker to correct.
Have fun learning!
