PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson uses primary sources in print and video form to help students understand the causes and effects of the Civil Rights Sit-Ins protests in the 1960s. Students will compare and contrast primary and secondary sources, use discuss questions, and write about the events and people involved.

This can be used as a stand-alone primary source lesson, or as a great resource for any Martin Luther King, Jr., Black History or Civil Rights unit! There's enough background information to be used by students unfamiliar with the Greensboro Sit-Ins or the Civil Rights movement.
