Looking for public speaking activities? This speech activity will have students practicing their tone as they deliver messages. Students will experience how tone can quickly change the meaning of their messages.

This speech activity can be used for an entire class period or as a demonstration when teaching tone. Students can work with groups or partners.

It includes variations for using it in class and an extension activity. This free speech activity is included in my Public Speaking Unit.
