These "recipe" cards help your students get to the right website, with little guidance from you! The cards include links/address/qr codes to 8 Thinking Evil Math Wizard approved and screened math games and activities.
How can I use this product?
You can use this product in a variety of ways:
1 – Print out the color-coded cards for your students to type in or scan in the link to get to the appropriate math game.
2 – Open the file onto the students computer, scroll to the page you want them to use, and your student can click on the links to go to the appropriate math activity.
Great for early finishers, math computer centers, as well as sending home for parents. Tracking sheets are included so you can keep track of which games each student has played. I also included a template so you can create your own cards to add to this collection.
You do need internet connection to link to the free online games (all games are free from logging in or registration). I checked all the links on mac computers, chromebooks, and iPads. Note that most games required Adobe Flash Player, which isn’t directly supported on iPads, but you can get the app Photon Flash Player for Flash support. Please check all the links to make sure they work in your situation. I do include an Excel file, which lists all the games and links, which you can easily send to your school filter administrator and have them unblock the websites.
I do not own the content of these websites, but I chose games that are appropriate and engaging. But again, please check to make sure they are not blocked by your school.
How is this product different from other TPT products?
Can be printed or viewed online. I screened all the games, so they are an appropriate level for your students. I include templates and tracking sheets. Also I shortened the web addresses so that they are easier for your students to type directly in.
