From time to time I like to host coloring competitions in my classroom.
I set a deadline for the coloring competition, announce a prize for the winner(s), and let the kids know that participation is optional.
The biggest prize surprisingly enough, is having their artwork properly displayed in the classroom.
I don't just tape their masterpiece to the wall, by the way. I get black background on winning coloring submissions and add the students name and grade level at the bottom (like you would see in an art gallery). Fun fact: I used to work at one!
Anywaaaaay... the coloring competitions have been a fun way for me to decorate the classroom without much effort on my behalf! The last coloring competition I hosted was in the beginning of the year. We just hit the end of the 2nd quarter and the students will have a break in February, so I thought it would be fun to give them the coloring page to do during that time.
I hope that you enjoy this download. If you do, come back and let me know! The download includes links to my YouTube channel and blog for future reference ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by!
